As I am sure many of you weekend mechanics do on a regular basis, I filled my AutohausAZ shopping cart with all the bits-n-bobs I need to rebuild the front end on my 1984 Mercedes 300TD wagon. Well, last night I ordered an injection pump rack dampener (smooths the idle) and I had one item in my cart, the 40 dollar part. I received an email this morning that I spent 800 dollars(!!?!??!!?!?!?!!?) on front end parts...

So, a word of warning, delete your cookies or make darn certain you only have the parts you want in your cart when you order from AutohausAZ...

Also, this is the second time it has happened to me.

I will be spending a lot of time looking at this view...

I love AutohausAZ. They're pretty much the only place on the web that can consistently and reliably get me the right parts for my car on the first try. I will agree, however, that you need to keep an eagle eye on your cart, because it doesn't clear just because you exit the website.

Believe me that puppy was empty... This is the second time this has happened also... First time I thought it was a glitch, this time I put the two together.

I haven't had that happen, but I've definitely gotta keep an eye on that since I'm working on an engine rebuild and was fooling around with about $2k in parts, lol.

Yeah just a little PSA. Im calling them up right now to inform them of the problem. Maybe cancel or ask for a discount. haha

Good luck on that motor, lord knows my om617 wants one too

I've had very good service from them, so best of luck!

Well, I just blew up my fourth one yesterday... Sort of... It's the same block the car came with, and the pistons and rods haven't been removed, but it's killed three sets of bearings and a crankshaft... Then I blew up my last "new" engine in five miles. I'm giving up and having a shop build a stroker, lol.

For some reason, I keep thinking your car is rear engined when I see that pic... Do it :D

I'm rebuilding my whole suspension for $1100 on my 300D but I'll be getting my parts from FCP Euro(OEM parts and free shipping). Also I need the proper spring compressor which is another 150 on amazon.
